New Balance has just unveiled their latest addition to the signature boot collection, and this time it's none other than USMNT and Juventus forward, Tim Weah.
The bespoke pair of Tekela 4 boots, aptly named 'Queens' Finest', pays tribute to Weah's New York roots. Having signed with New Balance in October 2021, Weah has been patiently waiting for his own signature edition boot, and the time has finally come. Following in the footsteps of other talented players like Bukayo Saka, Harvey Elliott, and Eberechi Eze, Weah joins the elite group with his personalized 'Queens' Finest' Tekela 4.
The design of the boots draws inspiration from Weah's upbringing in New York, particularly his time spent in Queens. The official colorway of "White/Red/Blue" showcases the white as the main base color, with a captivating star effect graphic in blue wrapping around the heel. Adding an iconic touch, the torch of the Statue of Liberty overlays the graphic, symbolizing the spirit of New York. The bold 'N' branding on the lateral side of the boots is prominently displayed in red, along with the 'NB' branding on the medial side of the heel, representing the three colors of the United States flag. The forefoot of the soleplate features a map of New York City, with the area of Queens highlighted in striking red. Completing the design, a sleek chrome effect stretches from the underside of the soleplate to the heel area.

Weah has wasted no time in testing out his new boots, as he has already been spotted wearing them during the USMNT training camp. Fans can expect to see him sporting the 'Queens' Finest' Tekela 4 in the upcoming international fixtures against Uzbekistan and Oman.
