PUMA has once again teamed up with Rihanna, who will be serving as creative director for the FENTY x PUMA range. And let me tell you, this latest drop is a sight to behold.
Inspired by one of football's most iconic boots, the FENTY x PUMA Avanti combines the timeless appeal of the King football boot with the sleek design of the brand's Easy Rider running shoe.
We all remember the frenzy that RiRi caused back in 2015 with her FENTY x PUMA creps. Well, she's back with a vengeance after a five-year break and seems to have an uncanny sense of what's hot right now.
The Avanti pays homage to the classic King boot, complete with its signature tongue flap. In the first release, PUMA has replicated the football boot's aesthetics, sporting a black leather upper with white accents. And instead of the usual branding, the flap proudly displays 'FENTY' in stunning gold. Let's not forget about the retro gum sole that adds a touch of nostalgia to these trainers. Rihanna might just have another timeless classic on her hands.
But wait, there's more! The second colourway is a completely chrome affair, shimmering from top to bottom. The only break in the silver spectacle is the gum sole, giving a nice dose of contrast.
