Newcastle sign Multi-Year Partnership with adidas.

Big news for Newcastle United Football Club! They have just announced a major partnership with sportswear giant adidas. Starting from the 2024/25 season, adidas will become the club's official kit partner in a multi-year deal. This reunion marks the first time the two have collaborated in a decade, with adidas previously outfitting the Magpies from 1995 to 2010.

Fans will fondly remember the iconic kits worn during Newcastle United's famous Entertainers era, when Kevin Keegan led the team to thrilling battles for the title. Those shirts, designed by adidas, hold a special place in supporters' hearts. And who can forget the unforgettable Champions League matches, such as the incredible 3-2 victory over Barcelona in 1997, with a hat-trick from Faustino Asprilla? Those were the glory days.

The timing of this partnership announcement couldn't be better. Newcastle United's Men's Team has just qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in two decades, while the Women's Team has officially turned professional after a stellar season that saw them clinch the title in 22/23.

Nick Craggs, Global Football General Manager at Adidas, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "This collaboration brings together two iconic names known for their history, innovation, and commitment to excellence within football. We are excited to provide them with cutting-edge sportswear technology and look forward to creating many more unforgettable moments, inspiring fans and players alike." Newcastle United CEO, Darren Eales, also shared his excitement, remarking, "Our upcoming partnership with Adidas evokes memories of some of the most famous players, coaches, and matches in the club's history. We are delighted to be teaming up once again as we look to create our own exciting future together."

The deal was finalized at Adidas' global headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany, and it was captured on Amazon Prime as part of a club delegation visit. Additionally, this new agreement will include a significant focus on expanding Newcastle United's retail operations, both in-store and online, on a local and global scale. Adidas is already fueling excitement by inviting fans to register for the latest news on the club's 2024-25 kit launch, which is scheduled to take place on June 1, 2024.
