New LG2 SPZL Colourway for adidas Spezial & Liam Gallagher trainer

Adidas Spezial and noted Manchester City supporter Liam Gallagher are back at it again, debuting a fresh new colourway for their LG2 SPZL trainer. This collaboration marks their third release together, and it's clear that they're not slowing down anytime soon.

Inspired by adidas' rich heritage and Liam's musical legacy, the latest colourway of the LG2 SPZL pays tribute to the early versions of the adidas Country sneaker. With a unique material mix, this trainer features a bottle green heel and stripes, a gum outsole, and a chalk white upper. It's a perfect blend of style and nostalgia.

Designed with direct input from Liam himself, the LG2 SPZL silhouette takes cues from various iconic adidas footwear references. One notable detail is Liam's portrait on the tongue, instantly recognizable and adding a personal touch to the design.

For those not familiar with the LG2, it made its debut in the SS22 SPZL range and is a continuation of the original Spezial LG from FW19. These kicks boast a nylon upper, flock 3-Stripes, and suede overlays for that classic adidas look. The tooling includes an EVA die-cut midsole, an asymmetrical toe guard, and a trusty rubber outsole. And of course, branding is on point with an "Endorsed by Liam Gallagher" graphic on the tongue and a mod Trefoil on the heel.

If you're itching to get your hands on a pair of these limited edition kicks, mark your calendars for September 8th. The adidas Confirmed app and Spezial stockists will be the go-to places to score these sartorial gems. So don't miss out, and make sure to sign up to our Newsletter for more to follow.
