Jude Bellingham, this name is synonymous with the exciting flavors of the adidas Predator 24 range, and true to form, the Real Madrid midfielder has not disappointed. Bellingham caught the eyes of many as he showcased the soon-to-be-unleashed colourway during England’s training camp. Sure, Giacomo Raspadori of Italy might have taken the first dip in showcasing the latest Predator 24 colourway but Bellingham presented us with an unparalleled preview while representing his country.
The Predator 24 face and poster boy, since linking with the Three Lions earlier in the week, blessed us with an up-close viewing, revealing the intricate navy and silver split in all its glory. Meanwhile, letting us in on yet another time, his Real Madrid comrades Nacho and Eder Militao sneakily previewed an appealing predator 24 colourway slated for release - a graceful nod to the luminescent “Electricity” Accelerator colourway. Bellingham, however, chose a divergent approach and embraced an unprecedented design.
As we noticed with Raspadori, the tri-tone aesthetic has been employed again, albeit with a switch-up from the accustomed Predator palette of black, white, red which featured notably on the ‘Solar Energy’ release. This edition discards black and white, replacing them with navy and silver, while the red retains its seat at the colour table. It’s a refreshing take, trust me, with the navy and silver tastefully distributed across the lateral and medial boot sides, while the red graces the tongue and the signature rubber fins. The whole aesthetic sends off vibes resonating with the classic Roteiro.
As we approach the 20th anniversary of Euro 2004, it's only fitting to look back and appreciate the game's memorabilia - the match ball, to be precise. In the kaleidoscope of this summer's impending Euros, I reckon we may be seeing these iconic colours once again, sprung from the archives and into the present. There's an unmistakable sense of anticipation in the air, and rightly so - the throwback is set to drop any moment now. So, let's stay tuned, y'all.
