Arsenal Unveils Community-Inspired 'No More Red' T-Shirt to Combat Knife Crime

The profound 'No More Red' campaign by Arsenal, in collaboration with adidas, continues to captivate public attention. Nellie-Rose, a vibrant young personality from the Arsenal community, has designed a brand-new 'No More Red' T-shirt. This initiative stands as an aesthetic protest by the club against knife crime, highlighted by the significant removal of the color red from the Gunners' kits on special occasions. Although these unique whiteout kits are not available for purchase, Arsenal maintains its community spirit by offering fans a way to support the cause.

In a dynamic new collaboration with adidas, Arsenal is making strides to involve the community directly in its campaigns. As part of this initiative, thirty young, promising individuals from various 'No More Red' charity partners participated in a four-part fashion workshop series. The outcome? A new 'No More Red' T-shirt retailing at £30, with all proceeds going to the partner charities.

Nellie-Rose, whose T-shirt design was chosen, participated alongside other budding talents in the workshops. These sessions, conducted by Arsenal, adidas, and Fashion-Enter—a local leader in ethical garment production—offered insights into the high-street fashion industry. The series began with a session at adidas' flagship store, where participants, including those from community organizations like Arsenal in the Community and Steel Warriors, delved into football jersey styling and T-shirt design.

The workshop series included a styling session led by Georgia Medley, a renowned stylist whose work appears in Elle Magazine, held at The Arsenal Hub. Participants engaged in a T-shirt design competition, where Nellie-Rose's design, emphasizing diversity and unity, emerged victorious. Her design not only represents Arsenal's community spirit but also underscores the club's commitment to creating safe spaces for young enthusiasts.

The community is fundamental to everything we do, intertwined with the essence of 'No More Red.' It was paramount for me to reflect this in my design. I'm proud that my creation will symbolize the campaign and resonate within our community."
