Soccer Aid and adidas have partnered for the first time, unveiling a striking new World XI kit for the 2024 match. The limited edition jersey features a predominantly black base with a sky blue underlay revealed through a repeated circular graphic. Bold pops of vivid pink highlight the branding, crest, and side strips. This sleek design reflects the passion of football in a high-definition way.
The England squad will also be sporting a special Euro '96 throwback kit, a nostalgic nod ahead of the 2024 European Championships kicking off just five days after Soccer Aid.
Many exciting names are already confirmed for the match, including rookies Bobby Brazier, Sam Thompson, Erin Doherty, Frank Lampard, Stuart Broad, Eden Hazard, and Diamond from Gladiators. England, with five wins since 2006, will be looking to break the World XI's recent dominance (seven wins in the last five years). The full line-up of celebrity and football stars is yet to be revealed, adding to the anticipation.
Similar to previous years, Soccer Aid 2024 raises funds for UNICEF. Founded by Robbie Williams, the initiative has raised over £90 million to support children globally. Funds go towards vaccinations, education in crisis zones, and mental health initiatives.
