adidas Officially Drops 'LFSTLR' Collection

We previously brought you the leaks for Arsenal, Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Bayern Munich, now adidas has released its highly anticipated 'LFSTLR' collection, which puts a fresh spin on the third shirts of the brand's top European clubs.

By merging the worlds of football and fashion, adidas is catering to the growing demand for stylish and versatile kit designs that can be worn both on and off the pitch. Gone are the days when football shirts were confined to the stadium. With the rise of kit culture and its impact on various aspects of life, from sports to fashion shows, the appreciation for well-designed football attire has reached new heights.

Recognizing this trend, adidas has seamlessly transformed this season's third jerseys of these leading clubs into trendy streetwear, suitable for everyday wear. The LFSTLR collection maintains the core aesthetics of the original third jerseys while focusing on wearability and comfort instead of performance-oriented features. It is aimed at fashion-forward fans who have a deep passion for football and value their personal style.

The collaboration between adidas and each club involved selecting a Creative Lead who is well-versed in fashion and music. This ensured that the collection not only showcased the unique character of each team but also celebrated their individuality.

Arsenal teamed up with Grammy-award winning rapper Pusha T, while FC Bayern Munich collaborated with Achraf, a prominent figure in the German fashion and music scene. Juventus enlisted the help of Italian fashion photographer Giampaolo Sgura, and Manchester United joined forces with Nigerian Afropop singer-songwriter, A.Dekunle Gold & Manchester's The KTNA. Real Madrid collaborated with the renowned Mexican rapper, Alemán.

Sam Handy, Vice President of Product and Design at adidas Football, acknowledged the ever-blurring lines between football and fashion, he said

The lines between football and fashion have never been more blurred, which is why we’re excited to launch this new collection for fans who want to show off their club pride in style and comfort. Each of the clubs featured in the LFSTLR collection are globally recognised institutions whose appeal stretch beyond a purely football context.  That’s why we wanted to challenge and redefine the traditional concept of a replica jersey and tap into current streetwear trends – making them a welcome addition to the wardrobe of any fashion-conscious supporter.

The intention was to challenge and redefine the traditional replica jersey concept, embracing current streetwear trends. These jerseys are a valuable addition to the wardrobe of any fashion-conscious supporter. Crafted with an enhanced base material, including superior fabrics for added comfort, and featuring a premium trim execution and careful detailing, each jersey exudes a heightened sense of style. The application of a tonal adidas badge imparts a clean and crisp look while enhancing the prominence of the club crests.

Furthermore, between 70-100 percent of the materials used in their production are sourced from recycled or renewable sources. Don't miss out on the opportunity to sport the adidas LFSTLR collection.
