March 28, 2024, marks a stirring moment on the steps of the Adidas fraternity as they unveil their latest creation – the 'Energy Citrus' pack. This fresh offering aims to uplift the football playing season by infusing it with a much-needed visual zest. The bundle includes the Copa Pure 2 and X Crazyfast, but the centerpiece is an unforgettable colourway for the dreamy Predator 24.
Ah, the Predator 24 – an emotional rollercoaster that has been igniting our love for nostalgia since its grand premiere at the start of the year. We reminisce about the inclusion of the fold-over tongue and the recent tribute to the ‘Roteiro Pack’ shade. And now, Adidas, those sneaky footwear magicians, are at it again, skillfully unearthing a gem from their vast, storied treasure trove to reproduce one of the most electrifying and unforgettable Predator shades ever. Our communal minds will once again pay homage to the Predator Accelerator ‘Electricity’ as it relaunches in the 'Energy Citrus Pack', which also refreshes the vibrant colourways for the Copa Pure 2 and X Crazyfast.
Dominating the spotlight in this package is the Predator 24. Its electrifying persona has been captured on the boots of prominent athletes, including powerhouse Real Madrid's Nacho and Eder Militao, and the talented Alessia Russo. The pack is available in fold-over tongue (FT), laced, and laceless styles with its official colourway named as 'Team Solar Yellow/Core Black/Solar Energy.' However, we'd prefer to call it Electricity, a nod to the Accelerator, a timeless design first born in 1998, reintroduced in 2018, and now reimagined in 2024. The Predator 24 flaunts a Solar Yellow base with black playing a secondary role.
We step into a scene of grape-like elegance. While the limelight might be easily snatched by the Predator, let's not gloss over the latest revamp of the COPA Pure 2 and X Crazyfast. A luxurious spin of burgundy is superimposed on the former, baptized "Shadow Red/White/Team Solar Yellow," creating a sight uncommonly savored on the pitch. It reminds one of the wine-inspired Nike Tiempo Legend 6 designed for Andrea Pirlo. The pack culminates with the brighter, X Crazyfast – possibly one of the last colorations for this model, considering whispers of a new prototype speed boot doing the rounds. Here, "Solar Red/White/Team Solar Yellow" takes the reins in a bolder shade of red, with yellow highlighting the collar's contours.
Feast your eyes and bag these gems from the adidas Energy Citrus Pack. Keep up with us.
