This isn't just about selling shirts, though. The details are stunning. Each feature is handcrafted in 3D silicone with infused metallic particles, creating a shimmering depth and contrast against the black velvet base. The Smokinglirare Edition wants to remind fans of what football truly means to them.
Richard Teroni, strategist and co-founder of River, the agency behind the campaign, explains:
"It’s hard to put into words the sense of community, meaning, power, and the rituals that exist in and around AIK. We want to celebrate the passion and loyalty that runs through AIK and its supporters."
Turning Passion into Purpose: Giving Back to the Next Generation
Here’s the bit that really stands out. AIK is selling only 134 of these special jerseys, and after a raffle for season ticket holders, the lucky winners will get to purchase them. But the best part?
The extra revenue from the jersey sales will go directly to Stadium Sports Camp, a non-profit organization dedicated to getting kids active and providing access to sports.
That means kids from underprivileged backgrounds will have the chance to attend a sports camp in the summer of 2025. It’s a beautiful gesture from a club that recognizes its fans’ passion and turns it into a force for good.
