Okay, so Puma's dropped something new – the 'Forever' pack. And you know what? It's kinda got me thinking about legacies. About what lasts.
These aren't just boots, yeah? They're a shout to what Puma's been building, brick by brick, on the pitch. The Future 8, the Ultra 5, the King – they’re all here, but they’ve been given a fresh lick of paint, some bold strokes that kinda make you stop and stare.
That Future 8, right? It's dipped in this electric blue, splashed with orange like a sunset caught in a football. They're talking about FLEXIGILITY – and it's not just a word they made up. I’ve been trying them out myself. Feels solid, like you can really dig in and move. Like it understands the rhythm of your foot. The stud pattern? It's like they took a paintbrush to it.
And then there's the Ultra 5. Now, that's a statement. Purple, pink, black, all mashed together like a rave in a boot factory. They say it's inspired by digital graphics, but to me, it's more than that. It's like… energy. Pure, unfiltered go. I asked one of the designers about it, and they said they wanted something that screamed speed, something that made you feel like you could outrun your own shadow. It's kinda mad, but it works.
But the King? The King’s been around, hasn’t it? Now they’ve covered it in this grey with flashes of neon green. It's the grandad who's decided to get a tattoo. I saw some of the Puma players wearing them this weekend. They were doing their thing.
