You know how some pairings just make sense? Like a good cup of tea and a proper chat. Well, Stone Island and New Balance are one of those duos. They got together back in 2022 for their first football collection, and it was a real moment – a blend of high-end street style and serious sports performance. Now, they've gone and done it again, dropping another capsule that just feels right, building on that strong foundation.

This new collection actually got a sneak peek earlier this year, if you were paying attention. Rapper Dave, who's not just a brilliant musician but also a big football fan, showed it off at the 2025 Santan Cup. For those who don't know, the Santan Cup is his own grassroots football tournament, bringing the community together through the game. It was a cool, authentic way to debut something like this, far from the usual glitzy launches, hinting at a collection that's meant for real play, real life.
So, what's new? This time around, they've gone for a real understated vibe. The kit is all khaki, which is a bit of a departure from the usual bright football colours, but in a good way. It's got this subtle textured pattern running through it, almost like a ghost print, with tone-on-tone detailing that you really notice when you get up close. And, of course, the Stone Island laurel wreath, which is their iconic compass badge, is there as a club crest. It’s a symbol of exploration and innovation, really fitting for a brand that’s always pushing boundaries in fabric and design. The front-of-shirt sponsor also gets that same muted treatment, blending in rather than shouting at you. It’s a clean, sophisticated look that you could honestly wear on the pitch or just out and about, no problem.

Then there are the boots. New Balance's Furon V8 gets a fresh coat of paint – or rather, a fresh fabric. It's dressed in the same muted, earthy colourway as the kit. The Furon V8 is known for its 'Hypoknit' upper, which is basically engineered to be super lightweight and flexible, giving players a really close feel for the ball. On this version, you’ll spot a ripstop pattern, which is a Stone Island signature. If you know Stoney, you know they love their durable, almost military-grade fabrics, and ripstop is all about preventing tears. It’s practical, but it also looks sharp. You'll also see the co-branded accents – little hints of both Stone Island and New Balance – and some sleek chrome detailing on the heel of the soleplate, just to add a bit of polish. And speaking of the Furon V8, it's a boot that's already got some serious street cred. England's own Bukayo Saka was seen sporting them back in June. So, it’s not just a pretty face; it's a performer too.
What really stands out about this collection is how grounded it feels. It’s not about flashy colours or over-the-top graphics. It's about quality, subtlety, and a kind of rugged elegance. Stone Island brings that heritage of innovative fabrics and street style, while New Balance brings the performance and the sport connection. Together, they've created something that feels authentic, practical, and still very much in style. It's a collection that understands that sometimes, less really is more, especially when you're talking about design that needs to stand the test of time, both on and off the pitch.
If you're keen to get your hands on this collection, mark your calendars. It'll be available from November 19th, both online and through select retailers. Don't sleep on it if you're into that blend of top-tier football gear and serious street style.
